Over The Air Updates (better known as OTA) are firmware upgrades which are pushed "wirelessly" via your Padfone settings.
The feature is located in your settings panel under "About Padfone". If a new firmware version is available for your Padfone and SKU version, you will get a notification about this, and the Padfone will download the update via WiFi. After the update package is downloaded, you can decide to install it at any time.
Notes
It is recommended to undock the Padfone if you run the installation of a firmware version. Some firmware upgrades made the Padfoen freeze during the upgrade process, luckely no damage was caused by these updates.
